The short version
If you give us a clean PDF with 3mm of bleed, we’ll take it from there.
If something looks off, we’ll tell you before it goes to print.
-
Files
PDF only.
That’s the format printers work in, and it helps everything run smoothly. (JPGs, PNGs, Word or PowerPoint files can’t be printed reliably - so we don’t accept them.)
-
Colour
Print uses CMYK ink, not screen colour (RGB).
If your file isn’t CMYK, we’ll convert it automatically - but colours may shift slightly. That’s normal in print.
If colour accuracy is critical, make sure your artwork is set up in CMYK before exporting.
-
Fonts
Make sure fonts are embedded or outlined so everything prints exactly as intended.
-
Images
Use high-resolution images. Low-resolution, screen-only images can look soft or pixelated in print. For best results, 300 DPI is a good rule of thumb.
-
Bleed & safe area
If your design runs to the edge of the page:
- Add 3mm bleed on all sides
- Keep important text and logos 3–5mm inside the trim edge
This avoids white edges or accidentally trimmed content.
-
Final checks
Every file is checked by a real human before printing. We’ll flag obvious setup issues, but the final responsibility for artwork accuracy sits with the customer - so please review your file carefully before uploading. If you’re unsure, email us. We’re happy to help.
